Broker Participation Guidelines
Brokers must physically accompany their clients to the sales office on their initial visit to qualify for commission payments.
The Broker must register their clients on the Golden Homes broker registration form. Registrations will be honored for 90 days following the registration date. You may not register clients who have already registered at the Sales Center within the previous 90 days.
You may renew a registration for an additional period of 90 days from the date of renewal by visiting the sales office (with or without the client) and completing another registration.
Golden Homes New Home Consultants are responsible for showing homes and communities to the client. Brokers are encouraged to accompany their clients during presentations.
Golden Homes pays a commission equal to 3 percent of the base price of the home or commission as per the listing agreement in the MLS.
On new-build homes, we pay half the commission when the purchaser’s mortgage has been approved, all contingencies are removed, a 10% deposit has been paid and the buyer has signed off on their plans. The balance is paid at closing.
On completed homes, we pay the full commission at closing.
